Hanzi Bloom Privacy Policy

Hanzi Bloom is an offline Chinese-learning app. It works without an account and without collecting personal information.

Data collection

Hanzi Bloom does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or third-party account services.

Information stored on your device

Your review history, favorites, hidden-card choices, daily study settings, and current learning progress are stored locally on your device. This information is used only for the app's study and review features. It is not sent to us or to third parties.

Pronunciation

Every card includes a pre-generated single-Hanzi pronunciation from Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. The recordings are packaged with the app and play fully offline. Hanzi Bloom does not use the microphone, upload speech data, generate audio on your device, or include example-sentence audio.

Children's privacy

Because Hanzi Bloom does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Support communications

If you choose to contact support, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and a description of the issue. We use this information only to respond, troubleshoot, and improve Hanzi Bloom. We do not sell support communications.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is released.
